Is there anything new in these drivers that might help or hurt performance? Normally I would go look for myself, but I am on the BlackBerry right now, so text can get hard to read scrolling back and forth when there isn't a mobile version.

200 point jump in 3Dmark Vantage , and some have reported better FPS in gaming too

About 2-4% folding GPU increase

In that case this sounds like it would be quite worthwhile. I don't game much, and the closest to benching I have done SuperPi and Prime95 to check stability. But a 2-4% increase in folding performance is still an increase.

I will go find and post the release notes.....

New in Release 190.38
Adds support for OpenGL 3.1
Adds support for CUDA 2.3 for improved performance in GPU Computing applications. See CUDA Zone for more details.
Adds a new user-controlled power management setting for select GeForce 9-series and later graphics cards (cards must already support more than one power state). This option allows users to set a performance level for each DirectX or OpenGL application.
Includes several new control panel features and numerous bug fixes. More information can be found in the release documentation.
Users without US English operating systems can select their language and download the International driver here.

Doesnt mention performance increases, but anything is good!

PS- 3dmk Vantage. Not advantage. :)

190.40 at guru 3d and still no answer to where the cards have gone in the physx settings :-/

those are beta drivers. personally i have bad luck with beta.

as for these drivers i use Windows 7 RC 7100 64bit as my main OS. i installed them and everything runs fine but the clocking's jumps from full 3D to mild 3D to 2D and back ALLOT while just opening a window or sometimes just idle?

only played a game of TF2 with them are they seemed to run good, but i CAN'T stand when they down down clock like they should when out of a 3D application.

i currently have 186.18 installed and run perfectly

anyone else having this problem?
