Flash upon switching on

When I switched on my PSU today, I noticed a tiny flash of light inside it (right at the moment I pressed the button, was barely visible through the vent at the back, if it happened during the daytime I probably wouldn't have noticed). Nothing burned, the PSU is fine, but I was wondering if it's normal.

P.S. Yeah, another post about "flashes", no, I'm fine, this one WAS real.

What kind of flash? Like a camera flash bulb? Or like a guy wearing nothing but trench coat?

Seriously, it depends on the PSU but they probably used a relay of some type to turn on the power to main part of PSU when the power_on line is active (grounded instead of floating at 5v standby). You should try for a better look, does it look like it's flashing inside a rectangle box or do you see any actual arcing? PSU brand and model would help as well.

Yeah, like a tiny camera flash (white light).

No, no arcing. The flash seemed to come from the area behind the switch button (inside the PSU).

Chieftec CFT-700-14C (Turbo series, 700W).
