In the last few weeks my computer has started taking forever to be able to get on the internet after booting. It takes about 2 minutes after Windows is loaded for the wireless icon to pop up and then connect. The connect only takes a few seconds.

If I leave my computer at the sign on screen for a few minutes it will be ready to connect when I log on.

What could be going on?

Usually a couple minutes after boot-up = failing service. Check the Event Logs and see if there's a service that's having a problem starting.

Just checked the event log and the HP CUE something was taking 1:20 to start. This is what was bogging it down. I went to msconfig startup and disabled it and restarted and BAM it came up just as quick as it used to.

Thanks for helping me take my computer back!
