Call of duty 4 Prestige?

hi, i started to play cod4 online since its the summer hols and im free.. im level 25 now but i was wondering if its possilbe to unlock prestige mode on PC?

If so .. How? Or does it automatically Carry on to prestige after level 55 ?

prestige is only on the console.
