I am thinking about replacing my ASUS M3N72-D Motherboard because it is having stability issues with my system and lacks some overclocking features in the BIOS. I am also thinking about switching out my memory for some 1066 RAM. My hardware is as follows:

Phenom II X4 940
4GB of OCZ SLI-Ready PC2-6400
XFX 9600GT 512MB DDR3
XION 1000W PSU

I will be using my system for gaming. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would rather not go down the ASUS route again. They are too picky with their memory. Anything not on their Qualified Vendors List is unstable.

Suit yourself, but how is that an issue if you're purchasing new ram as well? Anyways I suggest you get a similar model in whatever brand you feel comfortable trying.

Gigabyte ud4p is the equivlent to the ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe. Both boards are excelent OCers and stable.
