I just found this in my basement, and I can't think of anything to do with it... hmm... any ideas?

I'm sure there's magnetic shielding u could get...

or reverse direction of the fan and stick the motor on the outside..

Reversing directions of the fan doesn't work with squirrel cage blowers.....But ducts do!

Run a duct from a window (or a cooler air source;) ) into the intake of the pc. That'll give you enough physical separation to take care of electrical interference and force feed cool air into the case. Or same idea but exhaust: suck the case out with extra negative pressure!
 
I'd say use it to duct in some of that cool canadian artic air. Keep the motor away from the comp. though, maybe just outside a window.
