Cooler Master V8 or Mugen-2?

I have been getting mixed reviews about both of these coolers. I was told that the Mugen-2 does better than the V8 but at a fraction of the cost. If this is true I need to know if the Mugen-2 will fit in the Cooler Master Storm Scout without having to remove the top fan. I will be using the ASUS P6T Deluxe motherboard.

i believe the differences between the two are only 1-3c so if you are on a tight budget go mugen

but the v8 looks damc sexy in a case!
