The Green Monster v2.0

I bough an NV-690 long ago and filled it with led green fans. In case you couldnt tell green is my favorite color so of course I wanted to base my computer around that. I have had my case for a while and it was beginning to look a bit beat up. Almost bought a new case when I decided to have mine repainted instead. It became a big project of color matching and took about 2 months to complete but im completely satisfied with the results. My camera's flash really washes out the green so I took multiple pics of everything. the blurrier ones are without flash but show the true colors a bit better. Without further a due heres the pictures:

Fresh from paint(auto body paint actually a Lamborghini paint was used for the green and finally was all clear coated. the black had a green perl mixed in which shows in some of the higher light photos.):

The psu I had thideras make some custom cables to accommodate my case and match my theme:

Left side:

w/flash

w/o flash

Right side:

I added the grill because I had cut the original grill to accommodate a small lcd which I no longer use.

Here you can see how highly reflective the clear cloat makes it all

Front:

(note the flash makes the green tape visible normally it is not)

That's a great looking system. Just needs some photo work to do it justice. Do you have a tripod and does your camera have an ISO adjustment? Try following million-dollar-pc's tips. I really want to see that paint job pop...so much work, it deserves to be shown in all its glory!

thank you very much guys. im glad you like the cable management marluce, it took a long time to get it right but i am very satisfied with the results! black and green always been a favorite theme of mine and the case already had it going a bit. i just expanded upon it. for all those wondering here is some stock photos of the case to see what i changed: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowIm...w%20-%20Retail

Like! I am also doing a green themed build, which is taking far longer than it should. I considered this case as well, but went with the 900v2 instead. It's a pity EVERYTHING is made blue, but I've been enjoying the modding that came with switching the build to green. Seeing this makes me want plan some kind of paint job.

What fans are those? I really like the color, especially in http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/2339/1005057p.jpg

Are those my thumbscrews holding the PSU? Did they match the other greens well? It looks like they almost match the wires...

But overall, very nice.

@neonblingbling: yes they are your thumbscrews and no they didnt match the ones i had but they do match the wiring quite well. i was going to use them for the doors as well but i like the feel of the ones i have a bit better. either way im satisfied with em and kinda like the accent they add. btw those are your fan screws holding the grill and rear fan on as well

@Jolly-Swagman: thank you! thideras did an excellent job on the psu heres the ugly short stock ones: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowIm...Power%20Supply

Sveeeeeeet man!! I dont think I would be wrong in saying that a big Monster drink sticker would look good on that.

tbh i did not do the paint myself. i had a coworker who works in the body shop paint it for me. i highly doubt it would look anywhere near as good if i had done it myself. good luck on your project im interested to see how it turns out!

thank you! it was long process but it paid off. actually installed the mobo and laid out all the cables then removed the mobo drilled holes in the mobo tray and slipped zip ties in, then reinstalled. was a PIA but resulted well.
