CD + Raid

I lost a CD and CDRW today.

IDE1 Master CD
IDE1 Slave CDRW
IDE2 Slave Zip250
IDE3 Master 20G Maxtor 100
IDE3 Slave IBM 13G 66

(No Raid function)

I installed another CD and everything works fine again. Is there any issues with CD players and Raid (IDE 3, 4)? Could this possibly burn out two CD players at once? Strange.

What board are you using? If it has a highpoint controller then you can only put hardrives on the raid controller no cd, cdrw. They just wont work right. The more info you give about your ststem the easier it is to help. By the way Welcome to the forums.
