Hello! I just downloaded what seems to be the GPU Version, since F@H says my hardware is the nVidia 8800GTS. Question: Is there a way I can get both the CPU and the GPU in the game?

Welcome!

There sure is. Look at the STICKY threads here about what clients to get and how to DL them and you will be on your way!

Welcome to the Team

Yes on your Q6600 you will be able to use the GPU Client and CPU Clients

There are several different ways the CPU clients can be set up

1/ FAH SMP Client MPICH2 Install Guide can be found here http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=6061845&postcount=5

You would be able to run 2 of these,

2/ GPU System Tray Client Install Guide can be found here http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=6063613&postcount=9

3/ Notfreds VM Client Install Guide can be found here http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=6061638&postcount=3

With these Virtual Machines Running in VMWare Player you would be able to run 2 of them

The best PDD would be 2 x Notfreds VM,s and GPU Client,

Any Questions just Post up and ask,

Well thank you all for your kindness. I decided I'm only gonna use the CPU version. You see, my GPU's temp, even with its fan at 100% reached 85C, which is like woah. The thing is that my CPU doesn't work as fast as my GPU. I downloaded the easy installer from F@H's homepage because the installer here didn't work for me, though I am gonna try it again, but after I get back from my trip.

:welcome: to Team 32 soulis! New guy stocks the fridge. :)

Jolly-Swagman has you covered... lots of good material here to read to get you up to speed, and someone is always around if you've got questions.

One suggestion I'm going to make just to make things easier on yourself and the other members... can you reduce the font size of your signature please? No problem with the content... it's just that when I read your posts I find myself starting to read your sig instead of the post. :D
