Still trying to figure this thing out, and let me start with the rig - 17 920, Asus P6T, HDT-S1283 cooler, 3x2GB OCZ DDR3 1600, GTX260, Corsair TX850

Finally got the system solid at 3.6 (turbo off, HT and speedstep on) with DDR3 1440 8-8-8-27 - CPU volts are 1.20 (1.208 CPU-Z load), QPI volts 1.35, am volts 1.66

ram is rated at 1600 8-8-8-24 and 1800 9-9-9-27 - both seem to work fine when not overclocking.

I have downclocked ram to 1200 and tried to get 200fsb but BSOD under stress tests...this is even with voltage ramped up to over 1.3 - got to 4.00 with 1.325 but temps were upper 80s and then the system locked after a minute of lynx.

then I decided to stick with 3.6 (figure HT was my problem, but I want it on) and get my ram going up to 1800 - Nope, no go. I can raise QPI to 1.4 and get into windows but get immediate BSOD when i try to stress test. This is of course with relaxed timings and 2T as the ram auto set itself.

Of course, 3.6 and 1440 seem solid at 1.2v/1.35qpi/1.66ram and temps are in upper 60s lower 70s under stress. Is that just my sweet spot here

I'm seeing so many 4.0GHz, and other getting DDR3 1800 I'm trying to figure this thing out. This is nothing like OC'ing platforms before it and I know it's just something small i'm missing.
