Just thought I'd throw some of this out there, Was thinking of maybe getting a HDMI 1.3a soundcard in the future and ran across some of these articles.

They've an upgrade program for the Preludes starting for these, and was considering it. Well not really actually, the Prelude should just resell for more than the $50 buck trade in I'd hope.

Looks like using 1.3 may require a HDMI connection without a TOSLINK or SPDIF connection and decoding before it gets to the amp/receiver in order for it to really be useful.
