DVB-C DVB-T compatability

Question DVB-C DVB-T compatability

Our cable provider is going to remove all encryption on its digital transmissions in September. Will the DVB-T input on my tuner card (Hauppauge 1300) be able to see the channels or are there further differences between DVB-T and DVB-C other than encryption?
