Exclamation Whoops, deleted wrong partition on wrong drive...

So in the midist of rearranging the IDE drives in my yee old socket A system, I accidently deleted the wrong drives partition.

I had had 160gb drives jumper set to "Limit capacity to 32gb" but upon reboot and going into disk management, Windows swapped driver letters with another 40gb drive. Instead of deleting the formated 32gb partition, my dumbass delets the 37gb partition of the 40gb!

I quickly relized this once I saw there was now another 160gb drive listed...with a formatted 32gb partition. CRAP

Now....I havent recreated the 40gb drives partition, its still in the state of having no partition. Im afraid to as I NEED to recover the data on that drive...it was nearly full of VERY important data.

I have a full version of Power Data Recovery, which has worked wonderfully in the past. But it cant see the 40gb drive with it having a partition.

What can I do to recover that all data?

Recuva is a good program too for things like that. I keep it on my computer for when my stupid self deletes the wrong folder full of music.

I did that too.
There are programs that will reinstall the partitions I found one with an internet search.
I did get them back but the operating system was slow booting up and there were some other glitches too. I may have not done something correctly and caused the problems myself.

I ended up getting another hard drive and just used the other for storage and to get the info I needed off of it.
