Surprise!

Why is this so important, and why do i have two posts reserved? ACC Testing, to the max. I have been doing some ACC research with my 940BE, and the only way I can finally finish the testing is by using the 550 BE to enable 1 and 2 cores. These tests will fully utilize the +/- 12 on all cores. Each core will go through its own testing.

Areas I will be focusing on:

I will be using Wprime 1024, and 32M, and SuperPI 1M to test for any speed ups or slow downs with the cores. What do I mean by this? Simple, an overclock with multiple cores does not give each core a 100% of what its entitled to (ie Voltage). This can cause a core to slow down or speed up. Using ACC you can make a core go up or down slightly in speed. This will re-align the cores so that they process data at the rate they are suppose to. Using Wprime 1024 as my main tool for these tests I can watch and see if any of the cores do go up and down. I will also be learning how to correctly unlock these cores and to see how far I can push them. I have 32L of LN2 coming in soon. Anyone want to guess what might happen after it arrives?

Sit tight, relax and enjoy, this will be a long series of tests that will be taking more than a couple weeks. Any knowledge or tips about ACC is always appreciated!

NOTES:

0924BPMW Did not work on my M3A79-T Deluxe BIOS 1203

I look forward to your results!

Here's another thread over at XS about ACC tuning if you haven't seen it already:

BTW: Although I like your dragon desktop it might have helped to cluster those windows and trim the SS - I can't read half of those numbers ...

Sorry it was a quick chop. I've been working hard with the 550BE. Damn thing doesn't like the "Unleashed Mode" keeps saying I failed.

I'll be interested to see how many CPUs you go through before one unlocks, get some definitive testing on unlock percentages

And the ACC results too, of course.

Can't be talking about urination, it's the law :P

I bet that as time has gone by the percentage of unlockable cpus in stock has gone down as people have been returning non-unlockables.
My dad's 810 can unlock the last 2mb of L3 just fine, but it still kills the temp sensors which i don't like.

I ordered from newegg. I believe that in those percentages. But I'm also pretty lucky man. I got the RMA approved, CPU will be shipped out to them soon, don't know when I'll get my replacement.
