Hi guys, I am using EP45-UD3P motherboard and Crucial Ballistix PC 6400 2GB x2 Rams.
I bought a Cooler master Hyper TX 3 recently to replace my stock cpu cooler and I tried overclocking my E8500 [C0] Cpu to run at 3.8Ghz but faced high temperatures problem!
Basically I didnt fiddle too much with the bios settings, even kept Vcore at default and simply increased FSB from 333mhz to 400mhz. My idle temperatures are around 49 - 52 C and loaded with prime95 around 66 - 67C. I have got totally no idea why is it so high.. I checked the placing of the cooler and reapplied enough thermal paste already.. please advise! Below are my bios settings:
