how to roll back drivers
how do I fully uninstall 186 drivers and install 180 drivers? I've heard just uninstalling isn't enough |

You could try Driver Sweeper after uninstalling - it should get rid of basically every trace of the drivers. The instructions on how to use it should be explained step-by-step when running the program itself.. though, it has been a long time since I've used it.. but either way, I don't remember it being too complicated to use. Hope this helps mate ![]() EDIT: Just realised Driver Cleaner has been removed from guru.. try Driver Sweeper - looks like it does the same thing anyway (updated the link )

Driver Sweeper is the easiest way to ensure you get rid of every last trace of the old drivers. It's fairly simple and straight forward, just boot into safe mode, open Driver Sweeper, select the driver type you want to look for (nVidia Display), it will bring up all traces, click remove (it'll take a couple seconds), reboot, enter windows and install 180 drivers... then you're good to go
