OCZ CL7@1333 should I overclock it?

OK, I first bought and now I ask, but what can I do with

OCZ Dual-Channel-Kit Platinum
Low Voltage Series
2x2 GB DDR3-1333
7-7-7-20 at 1333 MHz
XTC cooler

Was it a smart purchase (price was good) and should I change clocks or anything for overclocking my i5 on UD4?

with cas8 timings you might be able to get DDR3-1600, i say might. based on the speed/timings, you might have to go to cas9 for DDR3-1600.

On my AMD setup, I can get 6-6-6-18 at 1.75 vdimm @ 1333. I haven't really tried pushing them speedwise yet, as I just assembled the system last week and have been testing for stability/temps before really putting down the hammer. I'll see if I can play around with them later tonight and report back on anything of note.

So should I overclock it to 1600?
Are there any real speed improvements overclocking the memory?

I would. my 1600 platinum will do in the 1780's at 7-7-7-18 give some voltage and can do 7-6-7-18 at those speeds. it will also do 1970's with 8's and 2100 with 9's and paid 109 for the mem a while back, best value ever for ram

I don't understand...
I see that in CPU-Z I have these values:
3040 MHz
DRAM 760MHz
FSB DRAM 2:8
10-10-10-24

Can you explain what are these values.. are they bad or good, safe/unsafe
I have i5 overclocked to 3.9 but I think I did not touch anything with memory

well if you can post a ss of cpuz-memory tab, it might make things a bit clearer. though if i am understanding your correctly your ram is actually set to 10-10-10-24 for timings right now. that is really loose for DDR3, go into the bios and set to 8-8-8-24 and see what happens.

my OCZ 6gb tri channel platinum ram is advertised for 7-7-7-24 at 1600, but its default settings in bios are 11-11-11-28 at 1033

i set it to 7-7-7-24 at 1333 but l will take it to 1600 after i put windows 7 on my new system after i get new replacement ram back this tuesday (last ram failed all memtests i tryed and crashed my comp a lot)
