New In o/c

Hello and goodafternoon people just today i did my first steps in overclocking my kinda old computer.

Is there i should give some extra attenction?

Friends told me to take care about the PCI-E Frequency in my board so itsnot over 100.

What more i could do with my e6750 with my cheap motherboard?

Here is some of my computer specs.
Cpu:Inter core2Due E6750(2.66ghz).
motherboard:msi ms-7379 ddr2support,667mhz-800mhz.
ram:2gb ddr2 dram frequency 333mhz.
Vcard:msi geforce 8400gs.512mb
PowerSupply:420watt HEC

Looks like you're doing pretty good so far.

Your temps will probably limit you before FSB or vCore. What CPU cooler are you using?

If you haven't already, take a look at the HOWTO: Overclock C2Q (Quads) and C2D (Duals) - A Guide v1.7.

I have a feeling you could do that OC with a lot less vcore.

Probably so, but CoreTemp says his VID is 1.35v...

Hmm true, maybe that is default or auto.

sofia, could you go to the "Settings" button on RealTemp to double-check your VID? It's under "max VID" voltage.
