Advice on Great AM3 Mobos

I am having some trouble picking a final AM3 motherboard for my Phenom II X4 955 build.

ASUS M4A79XTD EVO or GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P

I ended up going with Phenom II X4 955 w/ the EVO Board b/c the Gigabyte one didnt support DDR3 1600

Go with the EVO... It's a newer design, newer tech than the gigabyte. I switched from a gigabyte since it wouldn't run my 8gb G.Skill of 1600. Im running your same processor at 3.7ghz, 1.45V on the EVO

Hmm hard pick, I would personally go with the gigabyte. Looks like the heatpipes connecting the mosfets and the NB are better for overclocking and cooling.
