I was wondering how reliable CoreTemp is for displaying my cpu temperatures

Mainly because after reading at some other forum that it displays higher than actual temperatures, and for some reason after installing windows 7 my cpu is running warmer than on vista. Is this a realistic statement, or it just runs higher for other reasons...

let me know what you think
