Internet Explorer Stops working

Hello there

Is there normally a common problem why suddenly internet explorer stops working
This is a pritty new laptop, with the latest version of internet explorer.

So really you would not expect any problems, is there anything i could try.

I've just had a thought typing this out, would using internet explorer (64 bit) cause any problems like this


Vista ultimate 64.bit...

AVG does that, are you running it?

edit: Also, bad flash ads have that effect at times..

No i use Avast ratbuddy........

Though i suppose there's nothing you can do about bad flash ads, but i think that could be the problem though, not got many add ons, and it just happens out of the blue.

So you could say that there is a bad flash ad on the page somewhere...

As i say, i am on the same page most mornings and do not have a problem, then one morning it will automatically shutdown every few minutes, this can be a real pain...
