4pin molex need help.

4pin molex need help.


I dont realy know the name of this but... i have found a neon in my house (2 mini led ) that glow red. and i wanted to put it in my case. but it only have 2 **dont know the word** damn english lol but u will see what I mean in the pics.
HERE IS the red lights.

Here is ** dont know the word ** thing.


Here is a PsU wire with 4pin that Flashbanged ** exploded ** when i tested it on a old motherboard... and i cuted the wire and i thinked to do this way 4pin to 4pin into my psu and not doing this because when i move my case the **dont know the words** are getting out the 2 4pin circle where i put the **dont know the name** in there.

What i usualy do in my case to light up the light.
with flash

without flash



I want to tape with electric tape the **dont know the name** to 2 of these **dont know the name** red / black x2 / yellow to make a homemade 4pi nconnector for my light

The word you are looking for is WIRE or CABLE. A wire usually means there is only one, and cable can mean many wires together. Sometimes when there are wires attached to a device, they can also be called LEADS. The light you have proabably runs on 12V. This would only need the yellow wire and one of the black wires. Both black wires are the same.



As far as your English, much respect for learning another language. I can appreciate how hard it can be.

Some words in the English language do not get 'ed' put onto the end.

So, That mean that i need to **skin** the yellow and 1 of the black wires put electric tapes and it should work?

Yes, just remember to test before putting tape on.

man... My psu only have MALE 4pin no female so icant plug this homemade 4pin..........................................
Any clue to help me out?

I think the plugs on PSUs are female:


You could buy male pins from online stores. Or you could make your own: link. There are many pictures, so it should be easy to understand. You could attach the pins to the neon wires.

maybe its 2female to 2female not an expert in that but i jsut know it doesnt fit together. "&/!"&/&/&!/
Any link to make the pin to the neons wires?

ok... i have seen ur link neonblingbling but i dont have a eyeglass screw drivers. i tryed to remove the pin with a screwdriver (stars)
and its just dont move

well i found out how to do i went to my friends house and he,s briiliant and found out how to remove the pin.. and it was EASY EASY EASY
U use a Vice (etau in french) and clip and u turn in 45/90 degree...
actually pic of the 1pin came out really bad so only how to pic lol

Quick Update : it working fine i moved a pin by accident and computer shutdown O_O
IRestarted computer and everything was fine.
I Puted some electric tape on the wire neon / psu 4pin /
And did some hiding in the drive bays
I will post pic of this thing light up in the night.

Finaly, i totaly forgot this thread lol...
Pic of final project












On the photo it doesnt seem really bright but its light up pretty much all my case and it is actualy RED not Bright orange like red cold cathode do

Looks good, especially for free.

I hope you put electrical tape or heatshrink over the exposed wires and pins! Don't want it to touch your case and short out something!
