Linx restarted PC after 8 loops??

Hi all,

Linx is set to halt on error - but it just restarted my pc after 8 loop!

why is this?? is it an error?? instability??

i took the fsb down 2mhz and it passes 20 loops - just wondering for that extra 2mhz fsb - if i need some small voltage tweaks?

Instability. With it another notch on the vcore and maybe 1 notch on the QPI (VTT) voltage.

What are your current settings? Voltages, FSB, multi, ect? I wasnt sure whether you had I7 or C2x until I saw your thread on XS, so ignore the QPI, itll be northbridge or FSBTermination voltage to deal with. Also, what board are you running?

well for 20 linx loops stable :
vcore 1.28v
fsb - 455mhz
vfsb - 1.28v
dram - 2.14v @ 1081Mhz
cpu pll - 1.56v
Vnb - 1.24v
all i did was increase fsb to 458 on these settings and it BSOD'd in games / crashed linx!

but at 455mhz this is 20loops linx stable and 45mins OCCT and P95 stable so it mustn't like 458mhz!!
