2 TB hitachi Deskstar ticking?

I recently bought a 2 TB Hitachi deskstar from frys electronics from black Friday.

I just received it and installed it. I am hearing a ticking noise but it isn't constant. It comes and goes.

Does anyone know what is the problem or how i can fix the tick?

If the harddrive is ticking/making noises that is probably not a good sign, time to return it since it is suppose to be brand new. Good thing fry's has an excellent return policy.
