its my friends pc and he has tried everything according to him

the specs are:

mobo: Asus M4A78T-E

cpu: Phenom II X4 955BE

ram: 4GB Dual Kit Ripjaws DDR3-1333 F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH 7-7-7-21

gpu: 2x hd 5770

power: some 850wat

and an after market cooler for the cpu

any advice would be appreciated

Is it plugged in?
Is the switch on the PSU set to on (the I as opposed to the O)
Is there any POST whatsoever?
Is the motherboard beeping? (check the instruction manual as to what it means)
Is everything seated properly?
Does he have spare RAM etc. to test and see what component isn't working?
Try removing 1 GPU and 1 Stick of RAM,some mobo's dont like booting for the first time with extra crap.

And finally, why didn't your friend post here himself? It's not like we're gonna make fun of him.

ty.. he had forgot to connect a 4pin from the power to mobo.. works fine now
