Thanks in advance guys -- And I hope you have a great Christmas --

What is not stable about it right now? Are these settings working?

Looks like you might be attempting to run your memory at 1600MHz
many mobos report "stock" mem speed based on multi, in which case, your 1066MHz mem speed would be based on a 266MHz FSB (so x4 multi), up that to your selected 400MHz FSB (x4) and you get 1600MHz mem freq, which will not be stable.

Thank you for your reply

I get a little confused ...

Here is a pic, hope it helps

Oh, true...are you running the mem in your sig? If so, bda is correct...change the multi to 2.00 in the BIOS

Also, try the 333MHz strap, I found it better on my GB X48 board. (2.00C setting in BIOS)

Also, your Vcore is very high...what are your temps when loaded?

I wasn't sure if he has a 2.0 multiplier or not but that's what I thought too. That would put him back to 1:1 shouldn't it?

Sorry for the late reply Gents,

Had a couple of challenges that didnt allow me to get to my PC.

I did try changing it to the 2.0 Multiplier and still no luck, I have found better stability if I set the Vcore to 1.525V and up the GMCH overvoltage control to + 0.3V. (this is using the 2.66D strapping)

On a hot day on full load the CPU doesnt get above 70 degree's .The Vdroop on my board is bad, CPUID shows 1.504V fluctuating and resting on 1.477V when the CPU is under 100% load, on idle CPUID show 1.504V, not the 1.525V I set in the BIOS

As I’m looking for keep this rig for another year, somewhere there, would you guys do what I’m doing or would you drop it down to below 1.5V?

Thank for the help guys, really appreciate it !

Are you running 400mhz strap or 333mhz strap? From the 2.66D from your post above that would mean 400mhz x 2.66 =1066mhz. I am suprised you are stable at that. I cant get my PC2-8500 OCZ to even boot at that.
