Hello all,

My trusty wrt54g finally bit the dust. It was one of the first versions and i loved it but time for a new one.

I have a netbook and laptop with N and G respectively and i stream blu-ray to 2 places in the house sometimes simultaneous where it is choppy at times with 100mb. I know i would be fine with another G but i might as well get one with N capabilities if i am going to have it for 6+ years again.

I would like it to be simultaneous dual band

I was thinking about this one.

Thanks, and Happy New Year!

There's a few I've worked with in the past that worked well. Do you need the WAN port to be gigabit by any chance?

The WRT610 seems like a solid choice and you could throw DDWRT on there as well.

Is one that several friends and coworkers have and all swear by. No DDWRT support though. We've got one set up here in our office as our local wifi for phones/laptops/etc for my department and it seems to work pretty well.

EDIT-

I myself have been looking at this router but the review seems to vary quite a bit on the quality of the product.
