ok i updated my bios from 1302 to 1701 and i set default cleared the cmos, now my bios says the i have 0mb of installed memory and 127mb of usable memory so i keep getting oxc0000017 ram disk device creation failed due to insufficient memory.

there must be a setting in the bios that i don't have correct but i dont know what

My computer

Velocity Micro ProMagix A51
AMD Phenom X4 9600 / 2.3 GHz
CORSAIR XMS2 2 x 1GB and 2 x 512mb DDR2 800
asus m2n sli deluxe
ati radeon 3870
2 x 400gb hard drives raid 0

any help is appreciated

well the description for the new bios just says new cpus added but im pretty sure they are supported

:welcome:

Well the fact that your computer is booting means it is detecting the RAM. Did it work before you flashed the bios? If so then you might want to re-flash it.

Other than that I'm not sure I'm afraid :(

id agree with mouse ... maybe try reseting and clearing again otherwise a re-flash would be my next move. you may even end up going back to what you had previously

ok i figured it out

it was ezflash it was corrupting the bin file

i used awdflash and everything is perfect

Thank you guys for the advise
