Fan Filters?

I'm getting this case and was wondering a good way to keep dust out. My house is unbelievably dusty, and I have to clean out my current case (XCLIO Wind Tunnel) constantly. I've read a little about dust filters for fans, but haven't used any before. Can anyone suggest a brand or type that would work well with the case I'm going to purchase? I'd prefer something that's barely noticeable and can be re-used after being cleaned.

adding filters means less air flow which means more heat. especially when they start getting clogged. It's easier just to go over the inside of the case with a can of compressed air than have to mess with filters. Besides, even with filters you're going to get dust in there and have to clean the inside eventually anyways. You should only need to do it once every month at most, that's only 12 times a year.

My overclocked storage computer atm is running filters clean it out less then once a year and the temps only increased 3c. Saves me money over buying a can of compressed air every month.

Thanks for the replies. I thought the first mention of pantyhose was a joke at first, haha. And I'm replacing my case because I found a better looking case that comes with more fans and better airflow. Not to mention the front lights that show the temp died pretty early in my Windtunnel's life. I'm getting a Cooler Master HAF 932 blue LED version.

It's just part of a few different upgrades I'm buying.

EDIT: While I'm at it, would you consider this a good heatsink for a phenom II 940 BE? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118020 Anything better for it's price? I'm buying a new motherboard so I want to try my hand at OCing it on air. This is the new mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-143-_-Product

Here you go. This is a much better bang for your buck than the Zalman.

I haven't worked with any AMD mobo's lately, so I can't really say for sure. I am not really a big fan of Biostar though. If you are really looking for some of the best overclocking boards, I would recommend Gigabyte. I have heard good things about Asus, but haven't used them lately due to problems I have had in the past. Another brand that seems to be pretty well recommended around here is EVGA, but they are quite expensive. What kind of budget are you looking at? You could use the money saved on that cooler to put toward a better mobo.

$100 - $120 is good. I'm not looking to crossfire or anything, so yeah. This board has gotten good reviews on newegg, I hear 790GX is good and it has a "self recovery system" feature in the bios that allows it to go back to default settings every time the machine hangs up or crashes due to inappropriate overclocking so I figured it was a good buy.

Newegg reviews are very unreliable and should be taken with a grain of salt. I would really recommend a Gigabyte board. I run my Q6600 in one, and have had nothing but good results with it. I will see if I can pull up a link for one of the better AMD boards.

Edit: Here you go. A good buddy of mine has this board running a 965BE, I believe, and he loves the board. It comes out to around $133 after shipping, so it is a small bit out of your budget. I think a few extra dollars for a much better board is well worth it though.
