ep35c-ds3a usb 1.0 speeds (slow usb transfer)

My usb 2.0 ports perform as if they are 1.0

running winxp pro

tried updating usb drivers from gigabyte

both front port and rear port. have 3 different thumb drives all of which perform better on other computers.

3min to transfer movie on my comp

45 seconds on my old gaming rig.


Ideas are welcome.

Check device manager and see if you have a yellow exclamation mark by USB ROOT Hub OR ANYTHING RELATING TO USB.

If you do then go back to gigabyte and download the Intel INF installation and install those drivers. You may have to install them manually and if so let us know.

I have the samer board and i am going from memory but i think that is what you will have to do.
