dual display, different res

I have a 28" HannsG and a 37" Vizio(720p) hooked to my Ion system and would like to clone the desktop on each keeping the native resolutions. The HannsG is using HDMI, the Vizio is using VGA.

I can get it to clone, but when I do the it reduces the resolution from 1920x1200 on the HannsG to 1366x768 to match the Vizio

Is there a way to get each one to display its own native resolution?

I have tried going in the conrol panel and setting them up manually, but it doesnt offer me the option for 1920x1200 after I clone

This is onboard video on a Zotac A-U which uses the 9400m gpu

When cloning, I dont think you can have different resolutions. They will both 720p.

The only option would be to do extended desktop but you wont be cloning then.

Yeah Im pretty sure when cloneing they have to be the same resolution.

well bummer guess i will have to get used to 1366x768 on the HannsG or remember to switch primary displays when I am done using it

maybe an excuse to buy a 1080p HDTV so they at least default to 1920x1080
