I have a 28" HannsG and a 37" Vizio(720p) hooked to my Ion system and would like to clone the desktop on each keeping the native resolutions. The HannsG is using HDMI, the Vizio is using VGA.

I can get it to clone, but when I do the it reduces the resolution from 1920x1200 on the HannsG to 1366x768 to match the Vizio:(

Is there a way to get each one to display its own native resolution?

I have tried going in the conrol panel and setting them up manually, but it doesnt offer me the option for 1920x1200 after I clone

This is onboard video on a Zotac A-U which uses the 9400m gpu

thanks

When cloning, I dont think you can have different resolutions. They will both 720p.

The only option would be to do extended desktop but you wont be cloning then.

well bummer guess i will have to get used to 1366x768 on the HannsG or remember to switch primary displays when I am done using it

maybe an excuse to buy a 1080p HDTV so they at least default to 1920x1080;)

thanks for the help
