where to put heat sensors...can i use sellotape

i put the heat sensor on back of grpahic card, which is unaccurate lol
i put one on northbridge which i think is accurate...i did not know where to put cpu heat sensor so i put on motherboard right near cpu and that is unaccurate too......the yellow stickers for heat sensors keep fallin apart what can i do>
 
you could dremel cut a small line into you hestsink of the CPU and put the sensor in there as that would be as close as you're going to come to it without removing the hat which is not a good idea unless you know what you're doing.. same goes for your gfx card
 
They are notoriously not accurate those sensors. I stopped putting them on parts b/c they arent close to accurate. What I do use them for is ambient, intake and exhaust temps though. Otherwise, useless for all intents and purposes.
