advice on cas VS speed help...

I wanted to know whats better...

I have my i5 660 clocked to 4.5 and memory at 1800 with timings higher at
9's . Would it be better to have it lower speed say 1600 or 1700 but with better timings? Lso does anyone know what I can push these gskills ripjaws to?

i read a review a while back that i cant seem to find right now about this same question. the end result was that in real world scenarios the lower latency beat out the high bandwidth. with X58 memory so fast compared to anything else the difference really comes down to timings.
