Need help trying to find optical drivers for Asus X83vm

I just clean installed windows 7 and now the optical drive doesn't work. It worked before when I was using the Win7 RC. The drive doesn't show up in the device manager, so I can't tell what drive is in my laptop. I tried to delete the upper and lower filters from the registry, and the drive still does not appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
