4850 n00b question.

I just upgraded to a xfx 4850 1gb. I noticed in CPU-Z that the core clock is only 165Mhz whereas in CCC it shows 625MHz. Is this normal or could I have configured something incorrectly?

I have Catalyst 10.1 and have not overclocked at all.

Your card is in idle clocks to save power.Click on ATI Overdrive, it will display real time clocks.

Does the 4850 really idle at 165mhz?? My 4870's idle at 500mhz=crazy power consumption @ idle

Ahh, I guess i should have done some more research before asking that. Thanks though! Now it's time to try and mess with overclocking it.
