its of those 2, i have looked over every other possible headset and these seem like they would fit my big fat head better.

367 is $30 free shipping
777 is $54 free shipping

367 has 50mm drivers and closed ear design
777 has USB sound card 40mm drivers and open ear

i kinda need to take the closed ear 50mm drivers andUSB sound card and mush those 2 together

i know what your thinkin, whys he need a USB sound card. well its not for the fancyness its because of the fact when i OC i get alot of feedback through the onboard audio. i hear it most in headphones (these headphones)

i have also been finding the need to yell at people online alot more lately so i thought i should get a headset

I wouldn't recommend USB audio devices; I've had many issues with them and other USB devices, other than keyboards and mice. Most of them are very poorly made with dismal frequency responses and low sample rates. Due to USB being a shared bus, latencies and collisions will often manifest in pauses/stutters in audio playback. Get a PCI/PCI-e sound card if you want good sound.

Those headphones look pretty nice though. I too prefer closed design cans over open.

Personally I would not get a headset with an attached microphone. If the mic breaks or starts sounding crappy you can not easily replace it alone. Many of my friends have had to replace their headsets several times over the years because of something happening to the mic. From my experience, they are also more fragile in general.

I've always used this mic (no longer available on Newegg): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836111208. I had my original one for close to 5 years before I spilled something on it and had to get a new one. They are very durable little things. I've used several desk mics and this one outperforms them all, and it's only like $7.

and Sennheiser headphones. I currently use the HD280 Pros (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106328&Tpk=hd280). These and the HD555s are great headphones.

PS. Get a good soundcard!! :)

I don't deal with Plantronics bro, sorry. I hear decent things about em but personally, if I'm going to buy a headset, or any gaming peripheral for that matter I buy Razer.

Also, so I don't look like a complete douche, Temp is right. I hear terrible things about USB audio devices. My 2 cents.
