The difference b/w this one and Vertex is not significant, depending on what's inside some units are even better than Vertex. Price to performance is much better than Intel plus it's 59.9 GB of usable HD space whereas with Intel you lose 5 GB +.

Boot times have been cut by 70% and applications load much faster on my system with this drive.

Hm, its good that prices are falling quickly now! I remember a couple months ago when the 30GB drives were 129 after rebate.

Now it says $137 AR, I don't understand Amazon sometimes.

Yup they raised the price by $7.34. They do this sometimes, as soon as they sell a set number of them the price goes up. I don't know if they'll have a new rebate tomorrow, I think the rebate form is set to expire tomorrow.
