should i go for a corsair 750watt or 850watt?

You could probably go for a 650W for that but 750W will give you some nice headroom to use it again.

Are you sure you don't want to go for a 5850 or something though? If this is for gaming DX11 is a very nice feature.

You should get a 750 for added headway in case you want to add another vid card in sli, etc. Make sure you make your thread title's more specific, we have no idea what you need help with when you name your thread "NEED HELP PLEZ". You could have named it "What power supply, 750 or 850 corsair?". See the difference?

Absolute max a 275 will draw at stock clocks is 218watts, that's a synthetic 100% load.
I7 920 at stock clocks is 130 max.
OC both and you might see 170w and 260w, that's 430 in total.
Add in the mobo and ram and hard drives and you have maybe 70-80w more, at worst, that's 500-510w.
The corsair 550w can put out 492w of 12v, so it could actually run that system if it isn't overclocked to the moon.
The corsair 650w can put out 624w of 12v, over 100w more then your system is going to use well OC'd and loaded to unrealistic levels.

Go with the 650w if you aren't going to be buying a second GPU.
