My wife works for a doctor. He would like me to build him a computer for his home. I figure anything new I'm building should probably be an i series for future sake.
I don't really know much about the i series so I was hoping someone could help me choose a CPU.
I think my choice should be between an i3 and i5, but just don't really know enough about them to know which would be better.
His son is 6 or 7 and plays some games, so might put a lower/middle range GPU in there.
Just because he's a doctor doesn't mean he wants to spend a ton, so I'm trying to keep this sensible.
I guess I'm choosing between the i3-540 ($140), i5-650 ($185), or i5-750 ($200) (Is the extra cache of the 750 worth the slower clockspeed?)
