Re: SuperBiiz Horror Stories?? (www.ewiz.com)

Hi gang,

Due to a good combo price and free shipping, I may purchase my Asus P6X58D and Intel Core i7 920 from this online retailer. I wanted to know if there are any horror stories associated with them or should I just pay the extra money and purchase from Newegg?

The combo I'll be getting is at the top of the page from this link:

No extensive experience, but I've purchased a few things from there before, including my new CPU recently. Usually I'd prefer Newegg but ewiz had OEM Q9550 for significantly cheaper, so with my low budget that's what I bought. Arrived in 2 days with no problems (I'm in NC).

I have ordered from them ALOT, only downside to ewiz is they use UPS ground so it may take up to a week if your on the east coast, and they kind of rape for faster shipping. Other than that they are great. I had an issue where I got a DOA 4890 and they handled it as well as newegg would have.

Hi Rattle,

Yeah, I saw the price of the other shipping methods and totally agree with you.

As for your DOA issue and how their customer service handled it, that's good to know they are on the ball. Thank you for chiming in.
