The happened after a software installl & it hung at the very last step yjen I rebooted. Then a BSOD comes up & says "unmountable_boot_volume" and the system won't boot. Is there anyway to repair it without reformatting?

Is there data on it that you would like to save? What version of Windows are you running? Can you pull the drive out and connect it to another system? What file system was the drive formatted with?
