Installed Windows 7 and one partition doesnt exist?

Hi,

My friend just installed Windows 7 and he had HDD split to 2 partition, 55 gb each. He had formated both and installed windows on one. When setup was complete he opened my computer and there was only Local Disk C with 55 gb, the other one isnt there. Maybe He deleted it or something, how can he get it back without reinstalling windows? Maybe PartitionMagic?

maybe it just needs to be assigned a drive letter? Does it show in disk management?

He Reinstalled again Windows. He fixed it.
