Anyone done the GeForce3 V-Mod?

Has anyone ever done the voltage mod on the original GeForce3? Before the mod they (the people who wrote the article) could get the core to around 240Mhz. Afterwards they hit 290Mhz with good air cooling. There was also a v-mod for the ram but I don't have enough cooling on that.
Anyway, if anyone has tried the v-mod on the core, is your card still alive? My core is watercooled, so even the pcb behind the core always stays cool. I was thinking of doing the volage mod when games come out that need more power... that should help me keep up with the low geforce4's for a while hopefully. Just looking for an estimate of how long the card might last.
