CPU lapping - alternative to plastic cover?

Hey, getting ready to lap a Q6600. A lot of guides recommend using the plastic cover that ships with CPU to protect it during the process. Well, I either lost mine or it didn't come with one. So I'm wondering, what is a good homemade alternative?

Thanks! It worked fine. Just finished installing a Mugen 2 on a Q6600, both lapped. Currently running @3.0GHz stable, load temps just under 45°

This seems like a good community, I hope to learn more in the future.
