Different firmware for netgear router?

Bought this router about 6 months ago or so. I hate the way everything is on it. Just curious if their is any custom firmware out their for this? Anything anyone would recommend?

Have you looked at dd-wrt? It supports WGR614 (not sure about the NAR variant), but it has a lot of features and is definitely far more stable than the linksys firmware I replaced with it.

Another option is tomato firmware, but I'm not sure what routers it supports.

I believe the NAR is v6, which is not supported. Take a look at the sticker and see what version it is.
