Ghosting to an SSD

Is there anything different/special to know when ghosting from a HDD to an SSD?

Just make sure the aligment is still correct and you should be good to go.

My thing is, I have a new desktop from HP coming in here at work. Obviously, it will contain a partition for recovery operations. I would want to make sure that got transferred (and worked) correctly.

New to the SSD game as of today, so I am not sure what things behave differently.

Not sure if that would be aligned then as its coming from a HDD, not an SSD... not sure now.. sorry.
