Hi guys and girls,

A friend of mine has an Soltek SL-66B with a Pentium 2 266MHz.
He want's to upgrade his system. Now I searched for the manual and it says the max CPU is a 533Mhz Pentium 2/3.
Are here any people who now this motherboard and can tell me how high the max of the CPU really is?

Much thanks in advance!

if the manual says max is 533, and it came with a PII 266, i'm guessing the chipset is an LX, which to my knowledge can't support the celeron2 and has a max fsb of 66, so a 533 celeron is the max.

forgot to mention it's an LX chipset indeed.

but shouldn't it be possible to plug in a P3 500? Slot 1 offcourse. Voltage should be OK then I guess........
