Asus eah5870/2dis v2.0 hothot hot !

well until my EK GPU waterblocks arrive I'm runnign these on AIR ..

now Asus say they have an improved heatsink yada yada

so I had a full gaming day on saturday - Stalker Call of Pripyat (Awesome !)

I afked for a couple minutes to grab a beer and when I got back the fans on the bottom water radiator ( not plumbed in yet .. just running the fans) had blown hot air onto my desk ..

My Mouse which is next to the case .. was Too Hot to touch !!

So, I quickly quit game and jumped into HW Monitor ... 88 * Cent -blimey

Now thats not a problem, I know they run hot ... BUT

is a triple 120 Rad with 1450 rpm GT's going to be enough to cool 2 of these ?

I've done the math and used all the calculators that have been provided (Thx Conundrum)

I'm just a bit worried about putting it into practice.

Thoughts ?

ta

I guess I should just TRUST IN SKINNEE !

even at 600W I'm looking at 11*c to 16*c Delta.

I never want to feel 100*c plastic under my hand again unless I'm caressing Meagan Fox on top of a camero !

Your under 600 watts easy and your cards shouldn't mind a bit over 10C DT. Whats that french link say for wattage on your cards?

it says between 170 to 200 watts per card

so 600 was overkill but i'd rather play safe

at least i have a bit more peace of mind .. thx
