Making a benching station

So I am making a benching station! WHOOPIEE!!!

Before I do though, I am stuck!

I can't find anywhere how high to make the support bracket for my video and sound cards.

I remember seeing somewhere that 5" is the correct height but I cannot confirm of deny that.

Anyone know this cryptic secret or point me in the direction of this information?

I would just measure it... like make a mock install, mobo + GPU and measure the distance between the base of the benching station, and the gpu mounting.

Yeah, I guess I could :-p

I do have an older junk case I should just butcher up for the bracket itself and not even bothering with trying to mock something up.

Yeah... I think I will just do that!

EarthDog, you maker my brain work.
